A lot of people don't think of motorcycle tires as a means of increasing performance. However, better motorcycle tires can give you better traction, handling, better speed, and overall better mileage as well.

Motorcycle tires, like automobile tires, are rated differently for different uses and also come in a variety of sizes. There are many aftermarket tires available that can offer better performance over your stock, OEM tires. The size of both your tires and your rims should be compatible and not outside of the recommended sizes.

The tires are designed to give optimum performance when spinning in one direction. Please do not ignore this as it may not only affect the performance of the tires, but it may be dangerous and give the tire an unusual wear.
